05 December 2013Hi, I filed my income tax for assessment year 2012-13 using my digital signature. However, I did not enter any values in sheet "IT" (Tax Payment Details) section. I received acknowledgement however it is reflecting taxes paid (7e) as 0 in acknowledgement.
I do have challan details which i want to add to that xml file. Can i get a chance to modify and enter those details and get new acknowledgement copy?
Can somone please help me regarding what can i do now ?

You can revise the return....
OR
You can proceed for rectification u/s 154...(better option)

Thanks, but it was belated voluntary returns... will i still be able to revise it ?

Sir,
I agreewith above consultant,
if you filed the Income Tax Return on due date then you can filed the Revised return otherwise no option.
If your ITR assessment is furnished then you fiiled the rectification otherwise not.
Further in my view, if you do't want to pain then my sugestion plz file the MANNUALY RETURN.
Decsion in your hand.
