FARM to FRIDGE
Chicago-based animal rights group Mercy for Animals released the product of its newest video endeavor on Tuesday, February 8. Titled Farm to Fridge, it contains footage taken from numerous undercover investigations at a variety of locations, from fish farms to feedlots, hatcheries to slaughterhouses, and gestation crates to veal crates.
The film is only about 12 minutes long, but stunningly powerful. It's comprehensive, honest, and brutal in its simple divulgence of the horrific and unimaginable torture inflicted on approximately 10 billion animals annually - in the U.S. alone.
