hi ,

Besides feeling pride to post a query here ,anybody tell me in both conditions whether :-

1)**if in a private co.(Software Developer) the old toner of a printer(assets) has been changed for the new It will go to the printing and stationary or repair and maintenance.

2)** If it is refilled by ink.

Thanks and Regards

Abid

It should be accounted for Printing and Stationery
I believe...the correct head is "Consumables"... can also charged to "Repairs and Maintenace"
Printing and stationary, should be more logical.
Mr Abid, changing cartridge is not 'repair' or 'maintenance' of the printer.

To draw a comparison- If you fill petrol for an office vehicle, do you charge the expense to repair and maintenance?

So printing and stationary is the right answer.
P & S would be more appropriate in both the situations. R & M would be applicable in case of any repairs or maintenance or replacement of parts of mechanical or electrical nature to the (Hardware) Printer.
its appropriate to charged it to printing and stationary
