what is difference between bond or LUT both. How do we get know that under which we should export bond or LUT

LUT is used in central excise where goods are used to export without payment of duty which ship owner acknowledged its security
The same is under bond as well. Under GST zero rated supplies export under both bond or LUT is there it we do not know difference between both a d which scheme we should opt for export please advise
bond is a legal agreement where obligation to pay money is created ...and a document where condition to do or not to do is stipulated
What are conditions under other LUT or bond to fulfil so as we can check our eligibility to file any of one
