EXPORT /IMPORT TALLY DATA

Our factory at sarigam & registered office in Mumbai

 

Most of the entry done at sarigam  only banking  entry done from here from import/export data

 

While exporting/Impoting  data from one tally data to another some entry are corrupted

 

Please send solution for this

 

All this happen after changing version 1.21 to 1.61

Hi Valji,

When you import / exporting data from one tally to another tally, the two tally should be same master like ledger name etc.,

You can also find in tally data folder, tally.txt. In that file is having what error has occured.

All the accouting feature are same (F11) , entry is imported from one data to another but some entry are corrputed during import for example while impoting bank entry ,the closing stock  is change. purchase & sales also change which is normally done at our sarigam office

it is difficult find some time which entry are missing

 

tally.imp file also not showing any error

There are many ways to import bank statements, vouchers and masters in Tally. Also there are different banks having different statement formats. You have to use third party tool utility to import Bank statements, vouchers and masters in Tally 9,  ERP, Prime, from Excel or PDF.

How to import data in Tally -

Voucher and Master in the XML format can be imported into Tally using the Import Vouchers and Master option. You can import vouchers from one company to another in Tally. Some of the scenarios are:

  • Importing data from third-party applications
  • Migrating to a later release
  • Data corruption/loss

How to import Masters and Transactions in Tally -

  1. Press Alt+O (Import) / Go to Import Option
  2. Select Masters / Voucher Option
  3. Select the Path of XML file
  4. Enter the File Name
  5. Press OK to Import
