when we purchase good on cash we pass entry like this......... purchse dinner sets a/c --- debit
to cash a/c-------------------- credit
now my question is that how will we show name of our part in tally will we pass any other entry in tally???

What are the dinner purchase for. if they are being purchased for your office purpose, then the below entry will be passed:
Asset A/c Dr
To Cash
In the narration you can show the name of the party from whom the set is purchaed with the bill no.
However if the dinner set was being purchase on Credit then the below entry would have been passed
Asset Dr
To- Party
