I've got exemption in may 16 in costing..have got 60 and attempted all other papers scoring 40+..in the FAQs on the website it is written that # will be mentioned next to the subject and F ex will be mentioned in the bottom..in my marksheet F ex is mentioned bt not the #...is this a technical error or some discrepancy?..pls reply asap

Your interpretation is not correct. Only F-Ex will be mentioned in such cases along with mentioning of next 3 attempts for which your exemption will remain valid. As long these are mentioned correctly in your marksheet there is no any discrepancy. Don't worry forget the rest.
just one more thing ...I recently got a message from Icai which went like thisICAI Registration No. WROxxxxxxxxxIPC & Password PC919For ICAI Application Login....is this significant or its just something else?..thank you
I think this is related to login details of your account of examination portal.
Please note for next 3 attempts you can not claim any other exemptin in same group , exam form website may except your 2 exemption in 2 different attempts but icai would not, and they dont even inform you that your cannot claim second exemption, only got to know after exam in result by showing apsent.
