Exemption from Training in CS to CA students

simply on the basis of articleship, exemption is not granted.bt during the articleship if u hd fulfilled the criteria relating to CS  Training, then exemption might be considered on submitting the proof of work done

no dude there r no such rules regarding exemption in the article training but u can get exemption in your papers

Neither there is any exemption in training nor in  exam papers if u do CS & CA......You need to treat them both as separate courses only.

Dear Friends,

there is no exemption in CS paper to CA Student as there is no MOU (memorandum of Understanding) Between ICAI & ICSI. as well there is no provision of exemption in training to CA student on the basis of his/her articleship.

Hi friends.... pls help me out.....i have worked with a CA firm for approx 19 months but nt under articleship i have been workng as a paid assistan for audit....will i be eligible for any kind of exemption from training in the CS programme.....??or i do have to undergo the training....??

Even if you have company experience only relevant experience will be considered, so working with an audit firm may not fetch you the required exemption for CS. Generally people with minimum 4/5years of corporate experience in the relevant areas are granted this exemption.

If you are serious about CS please take up CS training asap. 

I have also enquired about the same. It was really sad for me that CA people don't get any exemption in papers or training of CS.

Hey Arti.....Frankly speaking....i am not running away from the training and neither i have any issues in undergoing the training....it's just i have the same kind of experience like filing of ROC forms and other secreterial experienc so was looking for any possible exemption.....even if i dont get the exemption for the whole period of 15 months and get it for a lesser period i have no issues.....and i have been guided that this is possible....i just ave to apply for the exemption in the form and then rest and pray for the best to happen for me....lolz......i have my executive program exams in dec...once i clear that i will apply for it......

Wat to do?? First of all our instt shud recognise that course.. Not even giving exemption (atleast not to ri8 CPT) for CWA or CS cleared professionals.. How can we expect the same from them?
