Hey Everybody. There is a Society which deals in production of short films, arranging theatrical plays, educating students in the field of acting / music and similar interests. The Society Wholly funds its expenditure from the grants recieved from Central/ State government and has no other income of its own. It wants to apply for Income tax and TDS exemptions. Anyone having any idea how to deal with this situation, under which section can it apply for tax and TDS exemptions, And what are the formalities. Please, Its sort of urgent if anyone hows the procedure or information.
