EXEMPTION

dear friends,

i was a pe2 student with 1st group cleared.i had made conversion from pe2 to ipcc and opted unit 8 in which i should appear in exam for paper 3, 4 and 7. but unfortunately i could not appear in exam for paper 7. am i eligible to get an exemption if i get 60 or above in any of the two subjects i.e 3 and 4. one of my friend told me that i should appear in exam for all the papers to claim exemption. is it true.

please help me.
