We have a excise registered unit in Maharastra & another new unit in Daman, which is not registered under excise, can we continue without taking registration.our unit in Daman is a SSI Unit. we intend to export from Daman & there will be no local sale from Daman. Please give your valuable advise.

Since your Unit in Daman is a SSI, there is no need for excise registration till 1.5 Crores nd 4 Crores Turnover Criteria.
