This is for excise registration for jewellers.
Can multiple excise registration be obtained for a premises having multiple firms within it?
eg. In 1500 sq.feet area there are 3 firms operating. Can they apply for different registration?

Excise registration is PAN based
every manufacturer has to submit a floor plan, where the goods are produced / stored and it can not get mixed with other manufacturers / goods
AS long as the entry to the unit within the main is clear and demarkated and all the activity of storage, manufacture dispatch taeks place form that premises, the registration can be sought. Physical speartion and independence would be added advantage.
