Excise paid in wrong code

you can ask your Range super with a copy of challan paid and the correction to be done, he will verify it and will send it to IT cell for correction.  However there are certain limits of every stage, if the amount is bigger then he can forward the same to the juricitional officer of that level. 

so in future please be careful always while making payments
