Dear sir
I am manufacturing cashew shell oil ,which is included in 1% excise duty fro 1.3.11, My querry is
1. for availing SSI exemption from when the turnover is considered(1.4.10 or 1.3.11)
2. while manufacturing oil we get waste " cashew shell oil cake" which is non excisable acording to us (whether it will fall in other goods category pls clarify) should we include or exclude the turnover for SSI exemption
3. we r also doing jobwork for our sister concern, (which is basically trading firm & do not have manufacturing facility, )
in this case can we avail the benefit of excemption for jobwork & at the same time sister concern will not pay any duty claiming SSI exemption
4. pls clarrify whether Cashew shell oil is included in SSI exemption list (department is saying no)
