Dear All,

As per Sr.No.84 of the Excise Notification No.6/2006 C.E. dated 1.3.2006 as amended from time to time, the excise duty on Non-conventional energy devices / systems as specified in List 5 has been exempted from central excise duty, and also as per Sr.No.13 of List 5, the central excise duty on ‘Components and Parts of Wind Turbine’ has also been exempted from Excise Duty.

I have attached herewith Excise Notification and formate for issue to vendor for not allow excise on the goods / raw material which will be exclusively used in the manufacturer of Wind Turbine.

Thank you sir,

I am working with in a wind turbine accessories company - ( manufacturing hydraulic power unit)

We are sending this power units especially to the wind turbine manufacturer only ( not an any industrial custmer)

Presently we are getting the materials from my parent company from china, now we are trying to localize these slowly.

Shall i get the materials without excise duty ( is it possible for me )

If possible, any form i need to submit to the local customer?

Please advise

Please advise Dear, If you are manufacturer of Wind Turbin & Acceseries, then only this condition will applicable to you.

Dear Pattabiranam,

for excise duty exemption the gov. used "Wind operated electricity generator, its components and parts thereof including rotor and wind turbine controller"

There is no any word like Micro Windmils or Kilo Watt, Mega Watt etc.
