Can we claim both Excise & CVD duty

Be specific in the question!!
Excise or Cenvat is appliable on domestic manufacutre, while CVD is paid on imports,
both are not paid on single transaction
CVD is charged in lieu of CENVAT and credit is allowed in CCR 2004
