Quick Summary
A user is concerned about their supplier showing a higher purchase cost in GSTR2A, leading to excess ITC in GSTR2B. They are seeking advice on whether to claim this excess ITC in GSTR3B, fearing future complications. The consensus suggests claiming the ITC, but being prepared to reverse the excess amount in the following month, while also requesting the supplier to rectify the details.

You can claim Excess itc but in next month's the excess itc shall be reversed and such excess itc can be added with the output tax liability
Claim ITC which is actually belongs to you and ask supplier to correct details in next month GSTR-2A
