one of my friend appeared for the May 2013 IPCE(Unit 8). she got exemption in Information Technology. she failed in Cost Accounting and Financial Accounting. her result is F-Ex. May 2013 was her 5th attempt.she want to know whether she is eligible to appear for Nov 2013? in case no. tell me is there any oither choice to pursue the CA course.if she re-register for the course, will she get the benefit of IT exemption? sugget me in this regard.

She will definately get the benefit of the exemption in Information tech even if the transition is from 5'th attempt to 6'th attempt.it will be valid for 3 attempts.
i think there is limit of 5 attempts to IPCE....
