No, Marks are given step by step. if your answer is wrong then your full answer will not be cut but marks are provided step by step.
Here is an illustration of how marks would be awarded -
Say there is a question on reconstruction which involves 14 journal entries, Reconstruction Account, Balance Sheet, Calculation of cash at Hand.
Marks might be distributed as given below (Just and example)
For simple entry 0.5 marks and For complex entry - 1 mark / Total 10 (6 complex and 8 simple entry)
For Balance Sheet 4 mark
Reconstruction Account and Working of Cash at Hand - 1 mark each.
Total = 16 marks.
Marks will be awarded for each correct step.
