THE PROCEDURE FOR GETTING THE COPIES OF EXAM PAPERS WHICH WERE WRITTEN BY THE RESPECTIVE STUDENTS INVOLVE NO COMPLEX PROCEDURES.

THE PROCEDURE:- PREPARE A SIMPLE WRITTEN APPLICATION STATING THE INTENDED PURPOSE FOR SEEKING COPIES OF EXAM PAPERS.
ON THE TOP OF THE APPLICATION IT MUST BE STATED THAT "APPLICATION UNDER RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT" 2005. THE APPLICANTS ADDRESS AND OTHER DETAILS MUST BE GIVEN IN A LEGIBLE FORM.

AFFIX COURT FEES STAMP FOR THE VAUE OF RS10/- (it is the simple procedure apart from taking PO's or Drafts)ON THE APPLICATION.

(if bulk information is sought and the value of fees is not sufficient then the procedure is that, the concerned authority of the office must reply or notify to the applicant that futher amount of fees is being needed and it must be paid through by affixing futher court fees stamp or by any other mode BY THE APPLICANT)

THE APPLICATION MUST BE SEND THROUGH REGD-POST WITH ACK DUE(for record purpose)ADDRESSED TO THE PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER OF THE CONCERNED OFFICE OR DEPT OR INSTITUTE.

THE LOGIC AND LEGALITY BEHIND GIVING COPIES OF EXAMINED OR VALUED EXAM PAPERS IS THAT
" AN EXAMINER IS NOT BEING POSSESSED WITH  ANY DISCRETIONARY RIGHT IN AWARDING MARKS TO A PARTICULAR ANSWER OF AN EXAM PAPER OF A STUDENT GOING AGAINST THE FIXED PROCEDURES FOR THE VALUATION OF EXAMINATION PAPERS AS A WHOLE OR THE ANSWERS SUGGESTED BY THE STUDY MATERIALS. i.e if an answer is correct to the question then the examiner cant refuse arbitrarly to award marks to that paricular answer. If he does he is liable for damages or compensation to that particular student.

AFTER GETTING COPIES FROM THE CONCERNED AUTHOTITY IF YOU FIND THAT THERE IS ANY ARBITRARINESS OR IRREGULARITY IN AWARDING MARKS TO THE ANSWER PAPERS YOU HAVE THE RIGHT FOR PREFERING AN APPEAL TO THE APPELLATE AUTHORITY( here it will be the concerned HONOURABLE HIGH COURT). IF THE APPELLATE AUTHORITY IS SAISFIED WITH YOUR CONTENTIONS THEN THE RELIEF WILL BE AWARDED.(in the past there were many situations of appointing separate committee of examiners for further valuation of exam answer papers)
