Eway bill for Unregistered Person

Eway Bill 7063 views 31 replies

I run a poultry farm and all my sales are exempt, hence I have not registered for GST even though my turnover exceeds Rs 40 lakhs. I run my business from 4 different locations within the same state, some are within 10 KM of each other and some are more than 40 KM away. I regularly transport material between these sites using our own transport vehicles, some times I also transport materials that attract gst (not for sale, for own use) whose value exceeds Rs 50000 from one of our own location to another (stock transfer). We always generate a delivery challan but my question is are we required to generate an e-way bill.

The opposite party required to generate e way Bill in case you are unregistered

but opposite party is also me because it's a transfer between same firm, different location. Both are unregistered

For the purposes of GST registration, exempted turnover is also considered.

Hence you are liable for GST registration.

You must have GST registration to generate e-way bill.

No GST registration required if you are dealing exclusively in exempted goods.

If both transferor and transferee is unregistered, then it is liability of transporter to generate e way bill.

@ Vasanth Manickam

You may request transporter to generate e-way bill as said by above member

Transporter is also our own vehicle registered under firm name.. so how can 'transporter' generate e-way bill?

You can generate eway bill from eway bill portal for unregistered persons/citizens

It is better to get GST Regidstration not only for the purpose of eway bill but also for the purpose to get ITC refund on raw material and other expenses ....

ITC refund is not allowed in our case since all our sales are exempt...so GST registration will only be unnecessary burden as law doesn't require us to register..

@ Kesavraj it is clearly mentioned that he deals in exempted goods only and no registration under GST required

There is no need for an E-way Bill... instead of a Tax Invoice, a Bill of Supply should be carried.

Visit e-way bill portal and generate e-way bill as a unregistered person as said by above members

@ Eshwar Reddy please don't reply unnecessarily without knowledge on each post.

There is no portal for unregistered dealers.
