Satish Ji, You are requested to refer Rule 138 of CGST Rule which is applicable in case of Interstate movement of Goods.

it is vary on state to state & no any clarity from GST, for time-being as a safer side we may conclude that
For intra-city E-way bill not required. subject to 50K limit.
For inter city & inter state it is required.
