That is not at all true
From a.y 2017-2018 onwards ( i.e, from 01/04/2017 ) every computation of an income tax return ( WHETHER TAXABLE OR NON TAXABLE OR ANY OTHER CASES ) require to be certified by a CA or a TRP . I don't know the real fact but i think for the last budget , may be there is a provision regarding that .

Last year there were news that professionals, including CAs, may have to provide their names and registration numbers while filing their clients’ income tax returns and other declarations. So lets wait for A.Y. 2017-18 forms.

SSG,,, What do you mean by " there were news " ? do you have any circulars or notifications regarding that ? then pls provide .
@ SSG and PALASH RAKSHIT there is no news regarding this. CA 's have to declare their membership no and name in the tax audit report. Please don't get worried no such provision exists and is being proposed by the ministry of finance
