I am planning to set up a event management company which will organize events, sports etc for corporates. I want to know what kind of registrations are required & what kind of taxes we will have to charge to our customers.

Hi,
You need to register under service tax for "Event management service" For details pls refer the following link: https://www.servicetax.gov.in/st-profiles/event-mgmt.htm.
Service tax to be charge @ 12.36% on service charge.
