Kindly adivse to me regarding ESI & EPF calculation .
Basic 10500/- . no DA and OT other allowance like TA medical allowance 7000/- total salary rs.17500/- .
PF DEDUCTION from 12% basic salary amt-1260/-
now i deduct ESI contribution from basic or total salary .

Hi,
Yes ESI is deducted from total salary. As per ESI Act If Any labour who earns below Rs 15000 as his or her monthly salary will be covered under the ESI . Above Rs. 15000/- it is not applicable.
