I am getting following error at the time of generation of xml file for service tax return ST-3 form
1 Service TAx paid & payable figures are not matching
2 Education cess paid & payable figures are not matching
3 Secondary Ed. Cess paid & payable figures are not matching
How to fix these errors?
@ vinayak, suppose if service tax payable is Rs.100 and in challan if you have paid Rs.101 or vice versa, this msg will be shown. If the service tax payable is less than the paid figure, then no need to worry. Generate the XML file and you can upload the same. [Note: Challan details can't be changed]
