Error in itr 3 (java utility)

ITR-3 Java utility for AY 2019-20 has many bugs. I reported one bug last week to helpdesk, which is exactly where the thread has started.

I found that the drop down selection for claiming mediclaim premium deduction is not saved in the final.X M L. On selecting the drop down, I got zero errors and was able to save final.X M L   but when I reload same zero error X M L and recalculate, i get the error same drop down not selected in VI-A. Tax calculated does not take into account the mediclaim deduction. Unable to file return due to this as there is no work around for this bug.

Fortunately the date has been extended by 1 month. Hope new version of ITR-3 java utility is made available without this and other bugs. 

As a plan B, I have started populating ITR-3 Excel version. Can some one confirm that the ITR3-excel has no bugs?
