Thank you sir for your reply but actually my question is that my father has received PF (EPFO) after retirement.

Now while filing ITR 1 it is showing option in disclosure of exempt income for Section 10(11) for Statutory Provident Fund & Section 10(12) for Recognized Provident Fund.

I am confused about the diclosure of the amount received. Whether it is required to disclose and if yes then under which section?Actually I referred above mentioned articles but didn't find the solution.

Request you to kindly guide.

Select... Section 10(12) for Recognized Provident Fund.

Thank you very much sir for your reply so that means PF covered under EPFO is considered as Recognized Provident Fund and not Statutory Provident Fund. Kindly confirm.
