As the High Court held the entry tax unconstitutional.
I want to know the effective date of this judgement.
Whether a company still need to pay entry tax on purchase made
from other state & also file return.......
Please suggest me....waiting for reply.

Which state you are talking about,
Recently Calcutta high court strikes down Bengal entry tax as unconstitutional...but in the case of State Of Karnataka & Anr vs M/S. Hansa Corporation on 25 September, 1980 supreme court held that entry tax in karnatak is constitutional.
