what is the meaning of entrenchment in Companies Act,2013 ?

the word entrenchment is not defined in the act. Entrenchment clause of a basic law is a provision which makes certain amendments either more difficult or impossible.
It aims to protect the interest of minority shareholders.

entrenchment provisions means you can follow more strict provisons.. if your articles have strict rules than of the acy
