Eligibility for Appearing in Final Examination
(Regulation 29 A)

A registered student will be eligible to appear in the Final Examination if he satisfies the following conditions:

  1. he has passed Professional Education (Examination-II) / Intermediate Examination;

  2. he has completed the practical training as he is required for admission as a member or is serving the last twelve months of practical training on the first day of the month in which the examination is scheduled to be held in May / November;

  3. he produces a certificate from the Board of Studies of the Institute, to the effect that he has complied with the requirements of the theoretical education scheme.

Requirement under the Theoretical Education Scheme:

Under the theoretical education scheme, a student is required to submit and qualify any 4 test papers in four different subjects out of eight subjects of Final course by securing 45% marks in each paper under Postal Test Paper Scheme. These test papers should be submitted on or before 31st January for Final Examination to be held in the month of May and on or before 31st July for Final Examination to be held in the month of November.

Sunday Test Paper scheme has been withdrawn.

It is to mention that last Final Examination under the Old Course will be held in November 2009.
