Announcement regarding Election Code of Conduct

ANNOUNCEMENT

As the members of the Institute are aware, the Election Code of Conduct has already come into force effective from 3rd September, 2009 which is required to be complied with by, not only the candidates contesting for the forthcoming elections, but also by their authorized representative(s), supporter(s), well-wisher(s) and the like. Besides, it is also the bounden duty of the members of the Institute at large to ensure that the Election Code of Conduct is not only adhered to but they do not become a party to any intended violation of the Election Code of Conduct framed by the Council of the Institute, directly or indirectly.

Apprehensions have been made about upcoming organization of parties and requesting the Institute to ensure that the Election Code of Conduct is adhered to. While the Institute would not spare any efforts in ensuring the adherence to Election Code of Conduct by all concerned, through this communication, I am however, requesting the membership at large to extend full cooperation and support.
