An Egyptian man said he was offering his 20-year-old daughter in marriage to Iraqi journal-ist Muntazer al-Zaidi, who threw his shoe at US president George W Bush in Baghdad on Sunday. The daughter, Amal Saad Gumaa, said she agreed with the idea. “This is something that would honour me. I would like to live in Iraq, especially if I were attached to this hero," she said. Her father, Saad Gumaa, said he had called Dergham, Zaidi’s brother, to tell him of the offer. “I find nothing more valuable than my daughter to offer to him, and I am prepared to provide her with every-thing needed for marriage,” he added.

great idea sir ji. finally democracy has been restored in iraq. it has people to judge what is right and what is wrong and excessively wrong.

this country now does not require any outsider to police them.

Good one.........

nice

As we all know & agree that what Mr. Bush did in Iraq is excessively wrong, and thus I too didn't felt bad when I heard the news of throwing shoe at Mr. Bush.

great guts shown by the journalist...

He done a great Job to throw shoes on Him.  We inidan people have great anciant History in Books but since last so many years  ( when first Maugal attack on us) we have habit of living under some one ruled.  We ppl know our politician are currputed and they are the most bad side of our life but still we not able to throw them or throw even shoes on him. We ppl do only blame and never act in positive side. when some one insisit to be positive we wait for some one to stap forward but never take chance to become a first one to come out of line.
