Can ECB use for acquisition of land by a foreign company, who is planning to buy land and constructing a factory?
The land may or may not be in a SEZ.

I understand that foreign must have inciorporated a 100% Indian subsidiary.
Here kindly specify the sector in which the Indian company is operating and also what exactly the company wants to do with ECB.

This is a Korean company incorporated in India; who is in automobile Industry and plan to set up a green field manufacturing facility near Chennai.They have arranged ECB thorugh thier parent company in Korea for buying land and other preliminary expenses in Chennai.
