see i didnt give the paper since my exam is due in may 15.So i cant answer true cost since i havent done m&a. for inflation premium , it will affect rf and rm . so rm-rf will remain the same and rf will increase only and accordingly the ans
rooo i think u shd focus on audit rather than putting effort on answers. still u may specify the question, if i know i will ans.
Questions were easy but answers were not as easy as questions
Easiest paper was last attempts. This one looks average. And apparently Paper setter was was lord of the Rings fan with Lord Elrond and Mount doom getting mentioned.
true cost = npv to Doom limited
calculated as follows
[200+(50*20)+(25*10)/20+(10.5)]=58
Equivalent price for doom = 58*0.5=29
before merger =25
accretion 4 per share
npv 4*10 lakh
40 lakhs
misprint
20+(10*0.5) instead 20+(10.5)
Pc paid 5lack shares*50=250
Gain=200
Then true cost will be 50
i got true cost as 50lakhs ... is this wrong ?
True cost is 40 lakh and Inflation premium is risk premium means rm-rf*b

Was it frm practice manual
Near about 20 to 25 marks was a difficult part in paper....apart from that everything was from practical manual.
