the ewaybills rules are applicable to local sales also??
ie if sales are made to a local dealer within 5km, then e-waybill rules are applicable to it or not???

As per the provision of E-way bill Rules, the provisions are applicable to all supplies, including local supply. Theoretically whenever goods valued more than 50K is being transported by a registered person (including when he is receiving supply from an unregistered person), local or inter-state sale, E-way bill is required to be generated.
