One of my clients wants to send some goods to the other state and the amount of goods is above 50000/-. The main purpose of sending the goods is to show the goods to the retailers so that they can give the order for the same. So is there any provision for generating e-way bill and if yes what is the procedure for making e-way bill in this case.

You may generate E-way Bill, whereby in outward category, you need to select the option "Recipient not Known".
And, other details of E-way bill should be filled as applicable.

Go to https://ewaybillgst.gov.in/
Click on "Register for E-way Bill".
The GSTIN Details shall be required for registration. Once, you register, Go to Login. and you can generate E-way Bill for outward supplies.
Whereby in outward category, you need to select the option "Recipient not Known".
And, other details of E-way bill should be filled as applicable.

But when I am making E-way bill as we are sending the goods to some other state it is choosing CGST SGST by default so can we send the goods to some other state and if yes are we liable to make a reverse E-way bill for this as some of the goods will be unsold after visit
