E-way bill generation by wrong person

Please refer the below situation and help on the same;

A (buyer) is in Delhi and B (seller) is in Punjab. B sells goods to A on Ex-Work basis. A makes direct payment to the transporter, so as per Eway rules A is causing the movement, hence he is liable generate e way bill.

As per law if buyer generates eway bill, then he will send a soft copy of the same to the seller, who will in turn provide a print out of the same to the transporter. To avoid such inconvenienve the seller himself generates the e way bill.

Please suggest, if there would be any adverse consequences fot the above situation, where seller has generated the e way bill in place of buyer.

in this case buyer is responsible to generate e way bill since ex works sales. if buyer provide e way bill number transporter or seller can get print and attached to invoice. no question of generation of invoice at seller point. just they would help to transporter for print which is generated by buyer.

if seller is generate way bill, then the seller has to ensure the goods are delivered to correct place. till movement ends seller is responsible. this case seller is responsible to explain to dept when catch vehicle.

transporter also can be generated e way bill.

only for printing of e way bill, seller himself has to generate e way bill is not correct.

anybody can print without login id n password.
