Do i need to get e-way bill if i
am carrying a gold with my self amounting 175000? And if yes how any officer came to know about how much and what i am carrying, is that legal or not? It will help to do smugling also.

Gold is exempted from taking away bill.
No e-way bill is required in supply of gold as per rule 138, (14) annexure
Yes jewellery like gold is exempted for E-way bill.
No e-way bill is required, if goods are carrying with person. gold also exempted. when we carrying gold definitely should carry invoice if you buy Gold Bars
Yes. Sales invoice should be there while carrying goods.

All items exempted under Notification Nos. 2/2017-CT
(Rate) and 2/2017-IT (Rate) both dated 28-6-2017. The major among them are as follows - Fresh, Meat, Fish
Chicken, Eggs, Milk, Butter Milk, Curd, Natural Honey,
Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, coffee beans, wheat, rye, rice,
Flour, Besan, Bread, Prasad, Salt, Bindi, Sindoor, Stamps,
Judicial Papers, Printed Books, Newspapers, Bangles,
Handloom, Pooja equipment, jute, khadi, national flag, raw
silk.
