Ewaybill is mandatory in case of interstate sale or purchases. But responsibilities has been cast on those who cause movement of goods or transporter.
if your goods value is above 50000 then mendetory.... who is registered is GST they liable to generate eway bill it can be receipnt/supplier or GTA ....
It was made mandatory w.e f. 1st feb'18 but the govt has issued another notification rescinding (cancelling) the old notification, due to system issues. Hence, if your State's waybill systems are working follow that, if the same are not working then generate through the new portal.
