E verify the income tax return filing

Hi,

 

I have filed my Income tax return on Income Tax website through online process. it asked whether I like to e-verify. I had choosen Aadhar OTP and did the same. 

Do I need to send ITR V to CPC Bangalore which we use to send after efiling every yeat. 

 

Please suggest.

no need to send ( clearly return on ITR V after you everify)

No, e-verification is aimed at faster processing of your return. So, if you e-verified return then no need to send physical copy of itr-v to CPC,Bengaluru

Sir when you read whats written at the bottom in BOLD of the  e-verified receipt ITRV, you will know clearly.
