I had filed original return without E-verification and then filed revised return and E-verified the same and the revised return has already been processed
Now, I am getting messages to verify the return i.e. the original return.
Is it required to e-verify the original return as the return for AY has already been processed?

When I downloaded the intimation u/s 143(1), it shows in the ITR type as ITR2 original

Actually it is technical glitch of the system. As per rule, Revised return gets accepted only when original return is validated.
Why revised return hss to be filed?

As per rules, if you do not verify original return, it will get invalidated. Then the revised return will be not be authentic.

Revised return can be filed u/s. 139(5) of IT act, even after intimation u/s. 143(1) of the act...
And here the query is for the acceptance of revised return in case of original return's non-verification
The revised return conditions stated upward is not correct.
