E-verification of multiple ITRs

For the assessment year 2021-22, I created a tax return using ITR-1. I submitted it and e-verification is pending. Meanwhile, I found a mistake in the calculation and I submitted another ITR-1. I e-verified this second return. 

I want to understand if this is ok, and I can ignore the first ITR-1 submission. On IT site, I see the e-verification for the first ITR-1 as pending. 

Or, the process I followed is wrong and I need to do some re-submissions.
