It means from  CPC ur ITR has been transferred  to your jurisdictional ITO/AO like if u are in mumbai then at mumbai jurisdictional  ITO/AO.

Wait for others on club to comment.

agreed

but in case of E-filling, processing has to be done at CPC, Bangalore, than why the same transfered to Jurisdictional AO...??

AGREED    THAT    PROCESSING    HAS   TO   BE   DONE   AT   CPC  BUT

FINAL   PASSING   OF    ORDER    HAS   TO   BE    DONE    BY

 JURISDICTIONAL    AO/ITO    ONLY.

Does this imply that there are some issues to be looked into in the Return and may lead to a Scrutiny assessment after review by the Jurisdiction AO?

CPC is receiving desk only, processing of returns are doen under consultancy with respective ward and under guidelines of CIT.

if any data is mismatching with previous return or any capital is added for which further clarification is needed by IT department, the same would be done by ITO of respective ward only.

it would be a case of normal scrutiny or they want certain clarification regarding your return so wait for correspondence from assessing authority..
