For Cos. & (others who comes under tax audit) whether epayment of tax is also mandatory in case of service tax also? or only of income tax & tds?
Banks are still taking the physical challan, in that case if any difference occured in the data uploaded from bank is it the assessee's fault why not making the epayment? pl. help.

the e-payment isrequired only for income tax and tds not for service tax......as the notification issued by CBDT not Central Board Of Excise and Service tax

I am working with multinational company. But a remot place. I wanted to know that if any of e-payment not been accepted by internet problem , technical reason, or may reply from system that in sufficient memory , balance.
Then whether your non accepted part amoutns become dealyed and whether any penalty clause applicable?
As my company is paying around 20 Lac per month TDS and if out of 20 Lac only one challan about Rs. 1.50 Lac rejected by system due to memory or in sufficient balance then what will be the cause of action from ITO.
As this is very new system and facing lot of problem.
Pls help for the same.
