Dear All,

Will a registered company dealing in developed plots and flats as well as renting of flats will have to issue e-invoice. Yes the turnover is more than 20 cr.

For b2b transactions you will have to issue einvoice

does it mean on sale of developed plots and flats we have to charge GST???

I think sale of plots should fall mostly under B2C.

Opinion from fellow members on this will be appreciated

Einvoicing will get enabled but you will generate it only for b2b taxable supplies

Yes E Invoice will be applicable in your case but E-invoices have to be generated only for B2B supplies on which GST is charged.

If you're thinking about buying a house, I would say that it's not the best time to do it. If you go and check the price statistic of the houses, you will see that their price is higher than they would normally be, so it's better to wait for them to drop a bit or at least come back to normal prices. It's too much money to pay right now, so assuming when the next housing crash prediction will be, reading the article https://timthomas.co/signs-of-a-housing-market-crash/ can help you save a lot of money.

developing plots is a taxable gst service.

Please see this video to understand when e-invoice is to be issued

Notification No 10/2023 dated 10th May 2023 the threshold limit of E-invoicing turnover has been reduced to 5 crores from 01st OCTOBER 2023.

If applicable, you have to issue E-invoice in all B2B transactions and not for B2C transaction.
