Efiling 1320 views 6 replies

Hi,

I am a salaried person and have two house properties - one self occupied & the other let out. When I select option prepare & file return online, I get two options - ITR1 & ITR4S.

Which return should I select? Please advise.

Thanks & Regards,

Ajit

Hi Ajit......

You have to file your return with the option ITR 1.

ITR 1 is applicable for followings-

1. salary/pension

2. income from 1 house

3. other source

Whether ITR 4s is applicable for Presumptive Business.

If your exempt income is over Rs. 5,000/-, then you may file ITR-2.

Dear,

If the house property income exists along with salary income, in this case ITR-2 should be filed

you have to file itr 2 download excel utility available in site fill carefully and upload
