E commerce & Normal GST

one person having a GST registration as a normal retailer ... now he plan to sell goods through e-commerce platform... can he do with same GSTIN. in short both normal trading business & selling same goods through e-commerce platform possible on same GST registration..... or he has to take a new GST registration for e.commerce

please help
