My son has not received his income tax assessment order for his business (parternship firm) for the A.Y. 2010-11 till date.
My question is:
1. Does the ITO send assessment or summary assessment orders ?.
2. Can one obtain duplicate copies by applying to the I.T.O. or online on the webpage
3. any other suggestions to get copies.

Yes u can get the copy of assessment order online:
Just login on incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
Go to my account tab and click on " Request for intimation U/S 143 or 154 and proceed.

What if the case is for A.Y.2006-07 which is filed by paper mode
if we request how many days the IT dept takes to send the intimation?
If return has been filed mannual then it can't be taken.
It will be mailed to assessee within 1 week.
