Dummy articleship Vs Non Audit work

Yes Mr. Kalpesh u r very rite dear..................we are not supposed to do these kind of work.................bcoz we can do these kind of work by getting more salary ................so ICAI shud take strict decision on it .

I agree wid u..

but there are two ways of changing any system..

1st the way that u said above..

n 2nd enter into the root of that system i.e. reach at the top position of that system..

1st route is not so effective in India coz the ppl takes initiative at initial stage but on later stages they loose their interest n left away.. so 2nd route is more effective & stable in India...

Its purely my thought.. move towards the target silently & change the system effectively.. everyone is having gr8 power inside them..

& about the articleship.. i wanna say that we communicate about ourself... if we are prone to the learning & working then the employer will surely think once b4 gving such type of work to us...

think for a while... u hv to select 2 ppl out of 5ppl for a best project.. so how u vll select? offcourse those are selected who are dedicated to the work n having knowledge.. so if i m enthusiast to learn n work nd i show u my capability in day to day activities, then u'll surely select me... so every articles should perform their role in that way so that they will get selected for designated work...

but i agree there are always exceptions... this is the real life dude... every successful man/woman have faced many problems in their life n those problems becomes their strength for working in future... so ready to face the problems & challanges...

Normally such practice is not found in good audit firms. In our place we are not getting articles. There is huge gap in demand and supply situation. Articles these days are rare thing. So the question of getting non audit work does not arise. 

If this is a situation, articles are always free to take decision. Why any article will  continue in such firm. What can be the compulsion for joining and continuing article ship in such kind of firm. I don't understand! 

Any one please guide -

Age - 37 Years  working in MNC wants to do CA. 

What is the rule.  Whether he will have to quit his job for doing the Articleship.  Or while continuing the job he can do part time articleship.

Continuing with what Deepak says now a days for small & meduim size audit firms there is scarcity of articles in the first place and so there is a little chance that the articles are doing non audit work.

However is do not comletely disagree with the view mentioned by you Kalpesh but it happens in a few cases, one of which i have also seen.

I feel that the above even if they are happening should less and the article must have knowledge of the work which his firm does. In my firm also in most urgent times only i send an article to file an income tax return i. e. in case of an urgency of the cleint or at the last date of filing return. So if this kind of thing is happening then it should ok.

However if this is not the case and the situation is vice versa then the article should stand up for himself and protest the same.

And also agree with adarsh that

And also see that a coin has two sides and u can clap only with two hands. So articlehip is like a give and take relationship. Not taking any side but it can never be that always an article is only wrong or only the principal is wrong.

let me give you a reality a ca inter and a b.com(h) graduate student doing accounting job as an employee in a company which pays 6000 getting all the practical training he can get

vs

a ca inter & a b.com(h) graduate student working as an article getting 1500 monthly 

which one sounds better 

so why wouldnt student go for dummy

not everyone is  rich ,we all could use more money

this 3 year articleship is a hole of icai ,there is no exemption if you are going to do practical training or if u have already completed practical training in a company,the people against dummy articleship wouldnt fix this.They would not fix their clearly flawed rule.
